The Camon 50 series from Tecno just got its newest member. Say hello to the Camon 50 Pro 5G. It features a similar look to the recently announced Camon 50 Ultra, and it features the same key specs, including MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate. The SoC is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the 50 Pro 5G also gets a larger 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

Camon 50 Pro 5G is built around a 6.78” curved AMOLED featuring 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is equipped with a 50MP selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner.
Around the back, we get a familiar triple camera setup headlined by a 50MP main camera (23mm equivalent) armed with Sony’s LYT700C (1/1.56″) sensor and OIS. The second shooter is a 70mm equivalent 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, while the third one is an 8MP ultrawide sensor (14mm) featuring an f/2.2 aperture.

Tecno Camon 50 Pro comes in Moonshadow Black, Cypress Green, Nebula Titanium, and Misty Purple colors. Camon 50 Pro 5G is available for pre-order in Indonesia with shipments expected from March 26. The 8/256GB baseline version is priced at IDR 5,599,000 ($332) while the 12/256GB one is listed at IDR 6,099,000 ($361).

By the way, the similarly spec’d Camon 50 Ultra is expected to arrive in Europe sometime this year with a starting price of €400.
