Lily Ting, Sean Li, and Tucker Apgar, students at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, spoke with Meghna Chakrabarti about their 2018 History Day project, a website on the Prague Spring of 1968, that won first place at the national competition.

National History Day in Massachusetts is an interdisciplinary program for students in Grades 6-12 that combines historical research, interpretation, and creative expression. 6,000 students across the state participate in the program every year, with the opportunity to compete at regional, state, and national contests.
