The New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park is a United States National Historical Park in New Bedford, MA. The park encompasses 34 acres spread over 13 city blocks and commemorates the heritage of the world’s preeminent whaling port during the 19th century. The town itself is perhaps the dearest place to live in, in all New England. Nowhere in America will you find more patrician-like houses, parks and gardens more opulent, than in New Bedford.
